My GFX card got fried yesterday and i am on the verge of installing hardy heron.

My setup:

Intel Core 2 Duo - 2.33GHz.
Asus G33 motherboard 1333FSB with GMA3100 graphics.
2x1 GB ram.

Will ubuntu hardy+compiz fusion work without any problems till i get a new graphix card?
Gutsy did well with compiz but i have no idea about hardy.

Thanks for reading and would appreciate your replies/views on the subject. :)

Ofcourse, they would be working fine, though with some minor limitations. The Blur effects, the reflection effects will not work plus the mipmaps will not be smoothened. Everything else would be smooth enough (I have a laptop with GMA950 which has smoother than the other having a 8600GTS)

I have cube reflection enabled on my laptop which has an Onboard Intel GFX Chip.

Though since moving to Hardy I don't use Compiz-Fusion anymore, I realised I only really use it to have a true transparent terminal, and just enabled the metacity-compositor ;)

For me C-F worked fine in Hardy :)
