i've contacted google with the message :

"i have Ubuntu Linux OS with a Amd 64bit processor and firefox browser. I cannot see your flashmovies in 64bit mode because Macromedia hasn't one. WHY don't you use a FREE mediaplayer like MPLAYER ?????
http://www.google.com/support/bin/search.py?query=64+bit+media+player&Action.Search=Search

Would be Free Flash media player instead of free media player , there is a lot of free media player for 64bits , for example VLC (http://www.videolan.org).

Another issue is that Macromedia uses VP6 codec for videos in Flash and there is no free media player that can decode VP6 video , yes you can use VP6 windows dll to decode , but this only works in 32 bits no 64 bits and there is no the best solution.

And also there is a thread that explain how to contact Macromedia for a request of Flash player in 64 bits and another questions of Flash in 64bits :
