View Full Version : Wanna watch BBC or CNN News online ?

Hello,

What about watching the news with internet and Linux. There was already a program that was programmed for ubuntu to do that. Does someone know the program name (it has a always updated database) ?

They have a screenlet called Internet TV that plays TV channels like BBC o.o

All you need is libxul-dev package and the ones that come with it.

Well, for the BBC, you can watch everything shown in the past week for free (in the UK).

I think he's asking for something more along the lines of the News24 Realplayer stream.

I think if you open the N24 Real window then click play in standalone player, from there you can just save a link to the stream as a .rm on your desktop. You'll need Realplayer though.
