View Full Version : Random geeky t-shirts seen out in public

As I got on the bus yesterday, headed back towards suburbia from downtown, I saw a pleasantly geeky sight - a t-shirt that warmed me all the way to the tips of my toes, and I grinned the entire way home.

Unfortunately, he was sitting in the front seat of the bus, and the bustle of downtown is such that I was pushed towards the back of the bus before I got to say "HEY! Awesome shirt!" So here's hoping that he reads this forum.

Mr. Man on the 460 in the Twin Cities - my hat's off to you!

The shirt read:

s/windows/linux/g

So what random geeky/linux t-shirts have *you* seen out in public (not counting the ones you may have worn yourself!)

I want the "I void warranties" shirt, but even more I'd like one that says that shirt's tagline: if it ain't broke, take it apart and fix it

I was given this shirt by a good friend I almost never have the chance to see. Not *geeky* per se, as in computer-related, but definitely nerdy. I really cherish it.

Here's a few from a running geek:

The older I get, the faster I was.

Bomb squad specialist. If you see me run, try to keep up.

Pain is temporary. Bragging rights are forever.

The last one was a slogan from a running shoe manufacturer around 2001.

One of my colleagues had a plain black t-shirt with white text. It read:
