I've been trying to teach myself C++ for a while now, but all the different ebooks/tutorials tell me different things. Some are outdated, some won't compile on linux, etc. Do you know of any good, current linux C++ ebooks that I can download legally?
Thanks a lot.

LaRoza, you might consider dropping "How to Think Like a Computer Scientist, C++ Version" (at greenteapress.com) from your list. It appears to be outdated--just try to compile the first program in the book (a "Hello, world" example).

The "How to think" books are good, although that one uses an old C++ standard.

I will fix the wiki to take that into account.
