Can anyone work out what CMS is used on http://hullstudent.com or is it their own custom one? I ask because a friend wants to have access to his societies directory on there and I'm trying to advise him on the best way to do it so want to understand how the CMS works and if its viable to just get specific access to one section and be able to change it. Or if I should simply tell him its not possible and to start an external website (though that comes with funding complications so i'd rather use the first option!).

Thanks :)

Yeah I meant is the CMS that BAM is using a normal CMS such as Joomla or is it their own custom built?

Is there any reason not to ask the folks at BAM?

The link was posted hardly an hour ago. I wanted to look for it but there comes an error. No site. Whats wrong with it? How could it be that I cannot see anything?
Would love to help you but without this link its a little difficult.

The site appears to have died ha. Presumbly they'll fix it soon!

Anyway BAM have been asked, I just wondered if anyone had a quick reply :)

The guy im helping wants server access to a certain directory, so that he can develop an easy way to upload articles in the way he wants. But being a big company running lots of union websites, I told him its unlikely they'd want to give someone that degree of access.

Oh I am sorry, I was working under Vista and had very bad Internet problems so I thought it was my fault. Now I saw the website and unfortunately I dont know wich cms is used there but I think you can create a site like that with joomla or something else. That should be no problem. This website is nothing special or is not using any special things.
