I just found this old extension I used to use for Mac OS 7. It's a trash can on your desktop that has Oscar the grouch come out and say:
"I love trash! I love it because it's trash!"
Here is the INIT (untested)

I know there's a way to make a desktop icon of the trash with gconf-editor, but I was wondering if animated icons were supported. I would love to be able to have this on Ubuntu. Any programmers up for some reminiscing and porting?
