Hello everyone:

I'm a seventh grade teacher in San Antonio, Texas. I run a Linux computer lab for the kids and right now we are working with the blender. I am documenting all of my blender lessons on youtube and my school webpage. If you are new to the blender, or would like to pick up a few tips, check it out. I have about 8 basic lessons up, and I'll be adding more as the weeks go on.

My kids find them very helpful for review purposes.

no, i believe he said he teaches it. :)

nice initiative, though as a 4 years long blender user,
i doubt there'd be much for me in it. :)
and good luck with both the class and the tutorials. :)

Thanks for the responses guys.
I just registered a website to specifically document the tutorials I'll be putting together.

Thank you again!

Great idea. I think video tutorials with good voice-over are by far the best way to learn Blender.

Don't forget to cross-link to the Neal Hirsig Video Tutorials available at the Walker Creations web site (http://walkercreations.org/blender.html).

I liked your walkercreations website. Good resource there too.
If you would be so kind as to crosslink back, I'd appreciate it.

Thanks,

Oh video tutorials are the best way to learn Blender, I know. If I didn't know Blender yet, I would probably use these, but for everyone else, I hope they make use of the resource!

And I'm going to say thank you just for documenting it, since the more resources the better.

There are so many good video tutorials for Blender that it's hard to list them all.
But here is a good set for beginners : http://blenderunderground.com/video-tutorials/
