Any Active Web Design Communities Out There?

I've been searching for some kind of web design/web development message board or community online that actually gets a lot of activity, and so far haven't found any that get any more excitement than the forums at www.stylegala.com which isn't a lot.

Any ideas?

Try USENET for something like comp.lang.html or comp.lang.ajax and see what comes up.
