Habari zenyu !
First of all let me say that I am very excited to learn that there is an Ubuntu community in Kenya! At least now I have people closeby with whom we share similar experiences.
I have been tinkering with Ubuntu for some months now and let me say I am hooked kabisa!
Right now I use Ubuntu to do nearly everything on the computer.
From what I see here, I guess that most me us Kenyas are still stuck with Redmond's software ! Thats why a whole Education Minister can stand in the open and say that a programming hitch using COBOL caused a national fiasco !
Do you know what they'll do now? They will buy very, very expensive and ropey software from you know where...
Enough of that for now, I can be reached at muchanek@gmail.com. I will be coming here daily to look out for a question I can answer or post one of my own.
Asanteni sana for your time!
