"Choice" is a well respected and widely read Australian consumer magazine. It covers everything from fridges to insurance.

Here's a very recent article on Linux. Really good stuff IMO.

Much shorter article then I expected, but it does sum up a lot of the things people like and dislike about Linux and Windows.

Much shorter article then I expected

There are several following pages and a separate installation guide. (I now realize that their site doesn't make the other pages obvious enough!)

A clear, concise article for the technically-illiterate! Hallmark CHOICE Magazine style!

Fantastic stuff. It's great to see Linux is gaining more exposure in the mainstream consumer market.

Australian computing magazines are generally favourable toward Linux, but it's nice to see an influential, generalist magazine praising it as well.

I have to agree with other comments - very well written and balanced.

Mythbusters recommend Ubuntu too.

At least the guy with the mustache (Jamie H-something) did in an article :)

Forum admins, mods and community be proud:

Ubuntu is widely considered the most user-friendly Linux distribution, and has a very active and friendly community to help new users.

I am. :)
