I've managed to convince 2 M$ users to use ubuntu by showing this link: http://www.whylinuxisbetter.net/ and the definitely moving to join us. ha! ha! ha! I,m overjoyed!!!

Just make they sure they know about this forum, and you are able to help them through any initial problems.

In particular, make sure they know of any possible hardware issues and they know how to enable multimedia playback.

don't forget to tell them about freedom and its importance. The site that you directed to explains freedom as a practical way to save money if microsoft decides to charge more. Freedom is not a matter of what is convenient or what will save you money its an ethical choice. people need to learn about the ethics of Free Software otherwise we will loose those freedoms some day.

Sadly, though, most people just don't care about the ethics. As long as it works as they want it to work, they're happy.
