Ok so I posted a week ago that my external HD with Ubuntu was being shipped back to WD- but I still havent shipped it. THANKS GOD
So the Ubuntu partition on that old drive still works- my dear 2 year old Ubuntu that I had customized so much. The Windows NTFS partition was just messed up.
Well I was trying to do some custom things to Vista, and was rewriting system32 dll files. All went well until I rebooted. I couldnt see anything, and it was saying that uithemex.dll was corrupt. So I broke out the old drive and booted up Ubuntu- luckily I could go into the system 32 fiels and replace my edited dll's with the old ones. Everything was fine after I rebooted.
The best part of waking up is truly Ubuntu booting up! :guitar:
