Does it actually come out in April?? I noticed that it's in Beta1 stage right now, Plus I read it has the Firefox 3 Beta as the browser. That suggests May/June will be more likely. What is the planned release date for 8.04??

Yes it will be out in April. It does have Firefox 3. I don't think anyone know for sure whether it will ship will 2 or 3 but 3 seems increasingly likely.

April and and October are release dates I have been reading April 24 this will be a Long Term Support edition I wouldn't expect any delays sounds like the beta is already nearly a finished distro there is plenty of info if you check through the documentation or even google

It will. The final version will be added to the repos when it's ready.

Firefox 3 is already a major step above Firefox 2. It is much more stable on my system and the majority of memory leaks that plague FF2 are now gone. Perhpas we should push back the Hardy Heron release date for Firefox?

I'd like that as well. I don't get the six month release cycle- I think the timing should be more flexible.

I think it will ship with the firefox beta. And it will be upgraded to the final firefox 3 with the update manager.

Firefox 3 beta 5 is already much better than firefox 2.x and more stable.
