View Full Version : [SOLVED] Dawn of War: Dark Crusade Graphics And Sound
April 5th, 2008, 03:47 AM
I'm trying to play Dawn of War using Wine 0.9.46 and I have it working, but the Graphics Config Tool can't see all of my GeForce 7300's 256 MB of memory, just 55 MB, so it sets everything low and so the game starts up looking crappy. If I try to reset graphics settings in-game, I lose my sound. Any ideas or thoughts?
Processor: Intel Pentium D 3.4 GHz
System Memory: 2 GB
Video Card: GeForce 7300, 256 MB VRAM
Ubuntu 7.10, Kernel 2.6.22-14-generic

Disregard! Exiting then restarting after changing settings in-game has fixed things!! Got high quality graphics now with sound!!

did you manage to get your video card to use its full dedicated memory? you have to specify 256 in the registry, it should be in detail on the appdb faq for dawn of war. Also the game is a bit jittery with sound unless you turn down frequency and nice the game, might help to compile wine too.
