Hello everyone,

I need some tips on creating vector images, especially in Flash. For example, how do I easily create sun rays?

Anyone here know how to do this, have good links to tutorials or know of gaphic design forums?

Notice the rising sun in this image (http://www.webdesign.org/img_articles/13195/10.jpg)? I would like to do something like this in Flash.

Flash on wine works but isn't ideal. I notice alot of features will cause the application to crash out.

Using action script to draw and animate is ideal when possible same as how people work faster with vim once they get into the habbit.

If you have illustrator its the much better tool for drawing and you can import the file straight into flash whilst preserving the layers so you can tinker with them in flash as well.

Have you taken a look at Ubuntu's Art & Design Forum (http://ubuntuforums.org/forumdisplay.php?f=16)? It doesn't seem to be just for Ubuntu art, or Ubuntu designs (though there is definately a strong leaning towards that for obvious reasons ;) )!
