Guys according to Stallman, and the FOSS website they encourage you to sell open source, open source software is free as in do whatever you want with it as long as you return the source code and make it available. My friend who also uses ubuntu came up with an idea to code some nice GUI'S and integrate mplayer ,graveman and acidrip into a package upon checking out the open source code of ethics he discovered that there was nothing illegal about this and as long as he paid the various authorities ie mp3=.75 cents and riaa = $ 3.00 and returned the source to the community he could sell it if he so wished.
