Wikis are very helpful. The idea that people can have their personal wikis is even cooler. Do you use them? What apps, sites, etc. do you use?

David Allen's Getting Things Done works so well with wikis. How do you use wikis with it?

Where else do you use wikis other than your computers? Do you have wikis on you mobile devices? How?

As for me, I use personal wikis using Tomboy. I used to use Basket Notepads as a wiki-like app but I am trying to avoid KDE apps now because I don't want to run KDE libs in my GNOME session.

In my Sony Ericsson P990i, I just use word documents organized by different folders with Documents to Go. I don't know what wiki-app to use. I have Unyverse but it's very heavy.

I love the idea too.

I use tiddlywiki to keep track of my lesson plans at school. One for each textbook. Makes things really easy to find with tags etc.

There are personal wiki's for local use, but I use them on the web.

My wikis: http://laroza.pbwiki.com and http://ubuntuprogramming.wikidot.com

They are very handy to have around, and make things very easy.

Oh my gosh! That is soo cool! I'm just unsure if it will work with my P990i. :)

I haven't used it personally, but I've heard good things about Tracks for GTD: http://www.rousette.org.uk/projects/

I have recently started working with Fossil (http://www.fossil-scm.org/); a versioning system similar to CVS or Subversion but which also contains a lightweight wiki.

So far I am pretty impressed by the utility of the version control and while the wiki capabilities are not particularly extensive, they should meet my needs.

Those are really nice. It's just that, it's not for me. I'm not online all the time and I have a lot of things to write while I'm on the go. Something like tiddlywiki is nice because you don't have to use it online. Too bad it doesn't display well on the Opera Mobile in my P990i.

I was just having a hard time installing it. Hehehe.

Yes, one of the reasons I like the tiddlywiki is that I can use it at school where I don't have access to the Internet at my desk.

I have a new app for my P990i. It's Kylom Projekt. It's an opml outliner that lets me make a tree of notes that can also serve as a task list.

Too bad I still couldn't find an ompl editor for Ubuntu. The good thing is that, I can export my opml outline to html.

Of all things, I use a wiki to track progress and show off my collected items for Final Fantasy XI Online.

Tristam Green wiki (http://wiki.ffxiclopedia.org/wiki/User:Tristam_Green).
