Hello all,
I installed FreeBSD 7.0 (desktop edition) on my laptop.
The installer was a major disappointment and made me wish I had a degree in Computing Sciences... :( After several attempts, I still can't get any decent Window Manager to start by default, either Gnome (which I prefer) or KDE. All I was able to achieve so far is these ugly xterm consoles.
Any help would be appreciated. Is there a way to install/run a WM upon startup? I checked the docs already but this hasn't solved my problem.
