PHP's SHELL_EXEC doesn't work!

Hi guys!
I've been trying to execute `killall pppd` , but I don't get any response. In fact, I've been trying to execute a number of different commands and only `ls -al` has worked.

Do you know anything about that?

can you post your php.ini file? The problem could be caused by PHP's safe mode, but I'd need to look at the php.ini file to find out.
