Open source hardware? I can so image this thing burning a hole in my wallet. come to think of it, it nearly did twice. Anyone else have any experience with this thing? The reviews are positive..but I tend to trust a community than an editor.

I thought you meant open source hardware as in open source hardware specifications that anyone can review, modify, and even bring to a fabricator.
