Anyone use PC-BSD? I use it on my desktop and absolutely love it. Run's fast, easy to use, and very stable. Some things about it could use some improvement like flash, I have flash installed on it but its meh... Who else uses pc-bsd?

No, thanks. Pure FreeBSD for me.

Well, my mouse is really sketchy on PC-BSD, but all is well and its the only thing outside of an ubuntu distro that will run great on this desktop. You can forget about a live cd though... Runs so slow it will drive you out of your mind.

So? You're free to run whichever the hell OS you like. What's your point here (if any) ?

I haven't tried PC_BSD in a while. Once PCBSD and DesktopBSD launch their versions based on FreeBSD7, I'll give it a try again.

You just gave the response that your post deserved. However, I will elaborate.
There were several points. First, your post added nothing to the thread. It might have been useful if the thread were titled, "My OS is more 1337 than your OS". It was no different than those who say that Ubuntu is African for "I can't configure Debian".
Second, and related to the first point, is the irony of the fact that you are looking down your nose at PC-BSD while using a fork of Debian that has a reputation (deserved or not) for being a n00b distro. Not only that, you are a staff member at the official forum for said Debian fork.
Lastly, your post was misinformed. Without getting into true Scotsman fallacies, I don't see how PC-BSD is not "pure FreeBSD". PC-BSD is not a fork or derivative of FreeBSD; it is simply a pre-customized FreeBSD installation.
I agree that one is free to run whatever OS he likes. An OS is just a product, and I am continually baffled by people who associate alpha-male chest-thumping with it. It's like the old milkshakes I occasionally run across who are so proud that they drive a manual transmission automobile.

I ran it for a few weeks, I got sick of KDE so I moved on to OpenBSD.
