It's a 2D physics sandbox, and also my latest obsession. There are loads of youtube videos on it. Here's the Phun site:

Anyone else used it?

Yep. I enjoy it quite a bit. Though I haven't tooled with it for a while because my video drivers don't like to run it on top of compiz.

I've been doing quite a few experiments with it and the water engine (which my computer hates). (note: If you use PekWM/Fluxbox/etc. it works fine.)
So:
Water droplets making the splash effect on other water: pass.
Liquified spheres turning into water droplets: fail.
Noah's Ark: I can't draw an ark.
Meteors: Not sure. (I goes into the water, and then the water spereates. It's weird.)

Yeah, I've heard of it.
I've had this installed for a while.
My son plays on it.
At one point he favoured it over everything else, from all OS'...

It's listed as Freeware, not open source, so no repositories.

Yeah, getdeb.net has more lenient rules to provide more comfort.
