View Full Version : Can I install and use other windows base programs into UBUNTU OS?

HI !

Im am new in this OS. my friend told me about this site. I request for a live CD last month i just received the cds. Thanks alot UBUNTU. I just wonder how can i used my other window base programs like dreamweaver MX and one more thing can UBUNTU access my webserver which is win2kserver. Hope you can help me about my questions. Thanks alot and more power.

Dreamweaver has an alternative open source version called NVU.

I would suggest having a look at the ubuntuguide in my sig for more help about these things.

I believe that ubuntu can also access your webserver.

NVU is a not a version of Dreamweaver, I don't know where you got that from.

Ok, I misworded it... Nvu is an opensource web design editor, like an opensource version of the commercial web design editor dreamweaver...
