Someone suggest a USB thumb drive that is impossible to lose

I need a thumb drive that will be impossible for me to misplace. I can't stand it when I lose small things like that because I end up searching for it for hours before eventually accepting an epic failure. :mad:

i would try to find something that is about wallet size something that is not easy to throw and something that has maybe some :EDS lights on it or something bright colors that stick out i dont know

I bought a Memorex one a while back that came with an 18" teather like a camera strap.I can wear it around my neck or hang it on a hook somewhere.

A lot of thumb drives nowadays have a loop built in so you can put them on a keychain or whatever.I would suggest attaching a long colorful ribbon or some such thing.

I know, they make those thumb drives far too small...i don't mind 'em big. Except if im using a laptop.

It's been some years since I last saw them, but there are keyrings which beep when you clap your hands (or some such). Or perhaps you just attach the USB drive to your cell phone?

I'd buy 4 gigs of microSD for my phone if it wasn't for the fact that the data transfer rates are horrendously slow.

Oh, I didn't suggest to connect them through the phone. Just to (mechanically) tie them to the phone. Should you happen to misplace one, you'd misplace both. You could then have someone give you a ring and find both.

I keep mine on my ID lanyard...
Other than that, you can just get any old USB stick and slap one of those remote beeping things they have for TV remotes and car keys on it...
