screen sharing for mac:

Just a general question. I want to develop a program to share screen session for mac.

Can someone recommend a good start for something like that.

Why would VNC not do this?

not in my situation. plus i want to learn how it works on the 'inside'.

I guess I don't understand what you're wanting to do. Screen sharing could mean a number of things.

to be able to access the screen of a OS X 10.5 computer over its built in VNC thingy, just use xtightvncviewer

except that doesn't seem to be what you want to do, please explain in clearer detail
