Hello, when i try to install Ubuntu 8.04 beta, it shows no Tamil as an installation language. I am using Alpha version in English. Is there any possibility to change the language of OS after installation?

I changed the system language by changing the language under Administrator - Language source.

I don't think there is Tamil :( but there are other Indian dialects like Telgu (I beleive) or Hindi :D that you can choose from.

You can stick with English though and I think it will be better as most everyone at Ubuntu Forums knows English fairly well

Hi Jeyaganesh,

i installed Hardy-Heron 8.04 just a week before. Could you be more specific on how did you change the system language. Thanks
