clean up by name !!!

what exactly is this option used for? i mean the "clean up by name", on the gnome desktop right click menu.

what i have seen is that it rearranges the icons at the top left corner vertically. thats it ?

It should organize them by name too.

any way to remove that from the menu? it kinda messes up my icon stucture, because almost always i accidentaly click on it :oops:

if i'm not much mistaken (which I probobly am) it should arrange the, alplhabeticly.

I don't think it is the alternative to Windows' 'refresh' option...though I am not sure. I think f5 does the job of refreshing the current window.

Am I right?
