i bet you its something random like the palestines or some other random arab nation tried to block wikipedia from its countrys ISP's and some how managed to put all of wikipedia offline like they did with youtube.

Palestine is a long way from Pakistan.

In Malaysia and currently Wikipedia and Arstechnica still accessible to me. Maybe it's another problem with those under ocean cables ?

Wikipedia's primary servers are in the US, aren't they? As is the bulk of their traffic (mostly because we're idiots who use Wikipedia for everything), so that would make it, for them, afternoon/evening on a Monday. Which is a bad time. Don't they know high school English reports are always due on Tuesdays? [/lulz]

I too can confirm that we are now back to a code green. Wikipedia is back up. Still makes me wonder why there weren't any notices out there about this before hand.
