GTK help

Hiiii...
I want sme help on GTK... Pidgin uses GTk toolkit.. i want to add new tabs ,buttons etc to pidgin... How can i do it???

Do you know how to program in C and use GTK?

Programming in C i know ...But with GTK i am an absolute beginner....:(...

Then you should take the official GTK tutorial at www.gtk.org/documentation.html .

Then, you can start hacking pidgin =). Pidgin also supports plugins, so there's a chance to you add your new features without changing pidgin itself.
