i have a 3-year-old computer (custom built) that i am prepared to sell... however, i do not know what price to put it at

Here are the specs:

- AMD Athlon 64 3500+ processor
- MSI K8N Neo4-F
- nVidia 6600GT
- Pioneer DVR-111D DVD and CD Reader and Writer (Firmware Does Not Work In Windows For Some Reason)
- Floppy Drive
- 80G Hard Drive
- 30G Haard Drive

No, I am not trying to sell this on the forums, I just want a price to put it at when I end up selling it

sorry, forgot to post that lol
1GB of Ram
2.2GHz Processor

i don't think I am going to sell this in the ubuntu market
i want to reach the masses, so I will probably put this on ebay or craig's list

oh and I am talking about US $

With or without a monitor?

With the specs you said I would say about $150.00.

Well, it is worth different values to different people.

To me, it is a lower value because I have hardware preferences that are not compatible with the motherboard.

Asking up to $200 for it would be fair.

good thinking... forgot about monitor and speakers

I have a Samsung 17-Inch Digital/Analong Monitor and plain Boston brand speakers (worth about $15 I'm guessing)

I'd give you $60 for just the processor.

Yea. I would say no more then $175.00 - $200.00 for it. That would probably be a good place to start.

Computers lose their value fast, it makes selling a bit difficult sometimes if it originally cost a lot, or your like the computer.

yeh but its not that far out of the loop.
I personally would pay about $170 for it, $250 if it has a monitor
