I am a student of De La Salle University Philippines, and we do have a project regarding Operating System, and i choose Linux Ubuntu as one of my Operating System to discuss, i need the following information;

1. Scheduling
2. Memory Management
3. File System
4. Threads

if someone could help me find this information or give me references or citations, and website which tell the pertinent information will be a big help

Well, if you want the blood and guts, I'm staring at Understanding the Linux Kernel (http://www.oreilly.com/catalog/linuxkernel/) on my bookshelf as I type this reply.
It should answer all four of your questions, and there are more general OS type books you could read as well to supplement your curriculum, like reading a piece from Linus Torvalds' MINIX mentor, Andrew Tanenbaum (http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detail/-/0130313580/qid=1128617762/sr=8-4/ref=pd_bbs_4/103-2430269-6327804?v=glance&s=books&n=507846).
