the other day when i had to make a presentation in open office impress, the experience was not great

the i saw this (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jFge2zTSN-A) video of 2.4 on youtube, wow. i promptly installed the new version from the hardy repos and was amazed by the new effects.

in one version impress seems to have gone from powerpoint 2000 to keynote. where to next i wonder?

I was surprised by Gutsy's Impress. I like the way you can click a new slide layout and it all rearranges, and you can click a new background and it all reskins. What are the new effects? I don't think I'd notice them if I started it up right now (I have Hardy on my laptop). I've only ever used Impress once :P Last presentation I did was in LaTeX

I downloaded one of the 2.4 nightlies and couldn't find those effects Can you tell me how to enable them, what build you used, and what they're called? Thanks!
