Does anyone know where I could come across a pre v5 .tar.gz of xscreensaver? Anything too new and this patch won't work.

Yeah, let me know if it does. The normal password dialogue is really ugly, and I like the themes for the patch.

If you do it, make sure to grab the one from etch, not sarge. I just tried sarge and 4.21 errors out at the patch. The page said it might and sure enough it did. But etch had 4.24. I'll check back in a few.

With 2.24 it all installed fine, just working on the theme now.
