list of advertising servers, to be blocked

so i picked up a cheap router, a dlink di-604 and it has the nifty feature to block domains out
i go oh thats cool
then an idea occors to me...block out the domains of the sites that host those unsitely advertisments
you know, the ones with the annoying talking smilies, or the "your the 1000th visitor to this site" in the windows like borders....or the skimpily dressed woman[aka the ads at newgrounds]

anyways, i was hoping someone knew of a list of these servers, that i might save some bandwidth and load pages a little faster on my 30kb/s connection

If you are running firefox, look up the Ad-block plus plug-in, and the filterset-G updater. It does exactly what you are asking, and works great. BTW, you are asking for over 1000 server names, and you still won't get them all.

i should have clarified myself, im looking for the list cause i want to block them with the firewall in my router, so i dont have to configure the same plugin on 4 different computers, as that would take more time, and is less productive for me
doing this, i dont hae to leave the tasks im doing on my main computer and kick everyone else off of they're computers, not to mention some are running smaller versions of linux that dont use firefox as the main browser...
