WINE, (http://wiki.winehq.org/MacOSX) or virtualization: Like VMware, parrelles, virtualbox, or qemu.

Any Wine compatibility with OS X has been developed by the Codeweavers CrossOver team who feed all of their Wine improvements back to the Wine project.

They are the only two options available that I'm aware of.

Thanks, guys! Has anyone got a really easy to understand walkthrough for installing WINE on OS X, I'm still new to OS X and Linux.

I am not aware of a walk through for OS X, you could have a look at WineHQ (http://www.winehq.org/).

I found the following on the WineHQ site:

Just drag n' drop to the Applications folder. Make sure you have X11 installed.

You can get Crossover on Mac.

I'm aware of that, but I want a free alternative.

Totally Sucked. Couldn't run any of the programs I tried, I didn't try much though (A game and some software)... Gave up.

Did you set the programs to open with the Darwine helper?
