Hi all,

I've been working with some bash scripts lately, and really love them. They're quick to make, and more or less, I didn't need to learn much to get the basics going.

They're restricted to the terminal though - and I'd like to get my hands on something that has graphical widgets. Can anyone recommend me a combination which will allow me to quickly make small programs, and doesn't require too much learning to get started?

zenity is a good tool for bash scripts and GUI's.

If you want a full feldged GUI toolkit, there is no easy way. You will have to learn a language and the toolkit.

See my wiki (under Operating System Specific) for zenity tutorials.

I believe I heard of zenity, and should be exactly what I'm looking for. Thank you.
