What are YOUR favorite apps and their repositories?

Mine would be apache2 or firefox web browser, both found in the synaptic package managers default repositories.

Texmaker, seahorse, and thunderbird. Not sure where they are, but I didn't have to do anything too fancy to get them.

Then there's R . . . I added their repo to my sources.list file to get the latest versions.

Opera, Evolution and the terminal.

terminal yes, but evolution drives me up the wall ](*,) and I've got gmail so I don't see the point of it.
