Las week was microsoft the one who shows the latest IE8 Beta 1... Now looks like Mozilla is already working on Firefox 4 even if Firefox 3 isn`t available yet.

I found this link and looks really official.

Can anyone tell me more about this releae? I couldn`t find anything in google. Anyway, I`m going to test it.

Good luck!

It's no different from Firefox3 at the moment. Firefox 3's just been "branched", so it's just bug fixes from now on.

That's the trunk, where new features are added. No-one's doing any real work on it at this stage though, so using it is pointless.

good luck indeed. best to shy away from using it unless you are really going to be active in bug reporting.

There's a Mozillazine thread (http://forums.mozillazine.org/viewtopic.php?t=633542&start=0) explaining it if you're interested. For most of us, Minefield will be more fun for the timebeing.

That's Mozilla for you. When Firefox 2 came out Firefox 3 was already in development for like a month, and Firefox 4 was in planning. I wouldn't be surprised if they are developing a roadmap for Firefox 5 now.

Just go to system>administration>software sources>other software and click the add button. Put in: ppa:ubuntu-mozilla-daily/ppa

Then do:

sudo apt-get updateFirefox 4 will now show up in synaptic package manager.

Me? I'll wait, thanks. I don't need any breakage or glitches.
