I got a letter in my mailbox informing me that my Domain name must be registered through them, or at least they make it seem so through creative writing that you must, or lose your domain name through imminent expiry.

An excerpt:

You must renew your domain name to retain exclusive rights to it on the Web, and now is the time to transfer and renew
your name from the current Registrar to the Domain Registry of Canada. Failure to renew your domain name by the
expiration date may result in a loss of your online identity making it difficult for your customers and friends to locate you on
the Web.
It looks like an official Canadian government envelope complete with a red maple leaf.
My spidy senses tingled a bit, so I consulted the www, here is what I found:

http://www.sibername.com/support/droc.php
http://support.easydns.com/domain.slammers/droc.php

I just wanted to inform anybody who may be interested or affected by this.
