Fun IRC chats anyone?

I suppose it really depends on what you're in to. If you're looking for a good topic to chat about, search for channels with similar name to your interests (possibly ubuntu?)

If you're talking about finding fun people.. well, that's a bit like asking where all the fun people are in real life: they're everywhere. If you look hard enough ;)

But see, i dont know where to look, im an IRC noob. Thats why im so eager to find some interesting channels :)

Which client are you using? There should be a "fetch channel list" option (or such like) somewhere. Then you can search through them with key words of topics you like.

Xchat, its the first one i came across is there a better one? there are some defaults and i looked around but none really had anyone in them that were talking...

I personally use Konversation, but only because I'm on Kubuntu and it fits in better with my KDE desktop :) X-Chat seemed like a great app. to me.
