EDIT: Seems it won't actually be out until tomorrow, but there seem to be a few changes either way.

Agreed. I don't have a spare machine or enough HD to make an Alpha partition. Might have a closer look at the Beta. But then again. April 24th isn't that far away is it?

Looking at the release schedule, the first beta is out in just over 2 weeks, whilst the final release is a mere 6 weeks. Not that long at all...

It's not out until it's announced on the ubuntu-devel-announce mailing list (https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-devel-announce). If you download from the cdimages.ubuntu.com location prematurely, you'll most likely end up with a broken ISO, so don't.

Alha 6 is still not released. The link you included is on the Wiki.

Please wait 'till the official announcement.
