Learn something new.

I am interested in drawing, painting, photography, philosophical ideas, singing(when taking a shower), cooking(haven’t cooked for a while), programming, computer science, graphic design, building models (both hands on and digitally), and loving (the world and girls).

Try learning a new programming language. (I am looking into D at the moment)

You could always rub one out. That kills at least 10 minutes.

I sometimes quote scripture when I do or at least use words often found in the good book. I wonder what the record time for thread lockage is?

Start a religion, Jesus was never bored :-)

That's true, and he didn't even have internet porn. He just used his imagination...

I wonder if any of his 12 disciples ever caught him.

Start a religion, Jesus was never bored :-)

If you do that these days they call your house a compound and you get instant celebrity status.

In the words of my father:

Bored? Bored!? Cut the grass if you're so bored! Or clean the garage!

LOL, but so true, so true.

All religious and self abuse humor aside. I like to overclock when I am bored which sometimes results in a CMOS re-set, which results in re-doing my overclock profile, which kills even more time.

You do that too huh?

I hit 3.8Ghz on my Athlon 64 X2 6400+ just now with air cooling and a few beers.

Most impressive! Too bad there are no validation apps. for Linux and I am too dumb to make one.

You mean to stress test or to prove?

To prove. Such as the CPU-Z validation system. Of course there are always screen shots but those can be "shopped". I know it's not an area of big interest in the Linux world but as an overclocking enthusiast who enjoys/uses Ubuntu and other distros it would be a nice thing to have. It's one of the only and main reasons I keep Windows around b/c all of the accepted benchmarks in the overclocking community are Windows based.

:lolflag: That one made me laugh...

Install Windows and all it's security updates, then time how long it takes to get a virus (no firewall use except default Windows one) while surfing the web like you would on Ubuntu.

That should keep you busy for about 3 weeks (Install + Updates) and 15 seconds (Virus)
