About the project:

This project is designed to help all indivuals and companies that want to or already have moved to linux.

Using this project you can get info about all the aspects related to this transition. Our main targets are individuals and small companies that whant to cut costs on proprietary software, get a safer work enviroment (from net hacks/attacks and from viruses).

This project is non profit orientated. We will never charge you for any thing. This project is tailored in the same spirit with ubuntu and the open source world.

All the articles that are and will be published on this web page are written by volunteers from the linux community.

If you whant to become a member:

The website is designed so that you and the members of the community built around linux (any distro but especially Ubuntu) can add content to it. The few requirements to apply to membership to this project are:

1. You need to be a proven community member, either on UbuntuForums, either on any appropriate forum that is related to the subject.
2. You need to know XHTML 1.0. Why? Because this web site is written in XHTML 1.0 strict, and we don't have any WYSIWYG editor embedded...

All this being said, if you consider you could help us and become a member of this project, please visit the projects web page http://1000races.com/.

You may want to consider this (http://www.gnu.org/gnu/why-gnu-linux.html).

Threads merged. Please do not start multiple threads on the same topic.

Also moved to the Cafe as this is not a request for support.

I am sorry for the inconvenience but i posted in multiple places cause this project is a general interest. I am sure that it doesn't belong just in the cafe or just in the beginners forum...

Here it has little to no chances of being seen by the people that actually could be interested.

I don't think moving and merging is the in the best interest of the community. I posted them as announcements - not as actual threads.

Best regards.

I wouldn't mind helping. And I seem to fit the requirements :)
