My Ubuntu Forum Your Ideas
hey all thank you for reading
I just started a new forum for ubuntu (http://laiconic.quotaless.com/forum/)
here you can see the rank names and the rank pics
just copy and paste these links to your url field

I need your ideas for new forum categories and ideas for new rank names
I do not want to compete with the ubuntuforums :) just want to create some new place where we can discuss ubuntu-ish topics
lets start something wonderful
thank you in advance

how about live php based chat?
or the usual support categories,
how about a live streaming radio station?
or the usual games and entertainment catagories,
how about video tutorials?
or the usual community cafe
:(

Vitamin-Carrot, thank you for your ideas
how about video tutorials?
I have already made three videos dealing with the features of ubuntu designed for new users or users willing to switch to ubuntu
see this three site ubuntu tour
http://laiconic.quotaless.com/ubuntutour.html
I think I will add
Video Tutorials for Ubuntu
as a new category and will work harder on this field
thank you one more time

hi earobinson
so what will the site do?
the plan was to create categories which are not implemented here in this wonderful forum
ideas which come directly from the users

how about a whole bunch of links that point to companies that ca provide free ubuntu support over the phone ... but thats kinda useless if the users can get onto the net...
i spent the better part of last week helping a new user with that cause he couldnt splain what network window he was is ... eventually we established he was using network tools not the network manager :( its all good though the kid learns fast.
is there a basic how to giud that acompanies the ubuntu cd's when you order them?
if ot i think we should have one and a pdf or somehting online for those of us who create our own cd's so we ca print it off and give out out whe we "convert" other users.
OBEY!
