Netbeans 6 and Samba

I have Ubuntu Feisty Fawn. I installed Netbeans 6 with ruby on rails plugin 0.102.4. My question is: how do I open existing RoR projects which are available as smb shares? I simply don't see the fileshare. Is this a Netbeans problem?If yes, I would appreciate if someone could give me good pointers.
