Need help for a friend.

A friend of mine lives in Birmingham Ala. he's just got hijacked...Amazon sent him a confirmation notice for something he did not order.
I want to move him to Linux,but he's terrified...
Does anyone live in the B'ham Ala. area who would be willing to help him move to Linux and provide some support till he's cool with it?
