i know this might be a little off the discussion topic. But i personally am happy that my sister doesn't know that much about computers. Because, if she did she would know how to hide/unhide folders from her user account and then might accidentally locate the folders containing porn pics and videos stored on my PC. I also bolt my room( my PC is in my room) whenever i'm watching "them", so that my parents or my sister never come in at the "wrong moment".

Nearly 6 years ago, my sister "accidentally" caught me watching it at a cyber cafe near our house. I tried covering up, by saying that it was accidental. I never know, whether she said about this to my parents.

I also make it a point to leave my system locked when i'm away( i had to use 'switch user' feature in windows xp and wished that there were a 'lock screen' feature).

I wish she would just a teenage boy, i'm hormonally charged and that i can't just help it. Then I could be her Guru, with regards to computers. Till then, i'll keep my extra technical knowledge under wraps from her.

Yeah, keep her dumb so you can give yourself a hand!

Haha.. What if you made your sister smarter, and yourself a bit too? Like better security? Encryption?

Yeah.. But what guys posts something like this on a support forum? It is the community café, but.. It´s like he´s thinking out loud! Like he wants you to make fun of him.:) Trying to hide it from your sister, but telling the whole world!
