Hi all guys.

Is it possible to get Xcode 3.0 without registration?
Would be very nice if theres some mirror. Just wanted to install XMMS. Cuz iTunes dont play ogg. I think its possible to set it up. But also wanted to use XMMS instead of iTunes.

Have a nice day!

I've got something strange with this page. Have already been here. So if i click on "Download Now" button, in a view secconds imredirectet to this page: http://macosx.forked.net/

And about XMMS. I've searched for "XMMS for Mac" in google. And got this page: http://xmms.darwinports.com/ But it's going like this: If you want install XMMS you have to install DarwinPorts (MacPorts), and if you want to install DarwinPorts you have to install Xcode 3.0. And without registration cant get it. Seraching right now for it all over the Google. :)

I guess ill search a littlebit more. And if dont find it in a view minutes. Ill be searching for another way to let OS X to play ogg.

Best regards.

Hi again. :)

Just manadged to install DarwinPorts. Downloaded latest 1.6.0 version that works on 10.5.Instead of 1.5.X that i had before. Noticed that i already had Xcode some, before, 3.0 version. Don't remember anymore what i wanted it for but was already trying to do something with it.
So now trying to set up XMMS trough ports, using this explanation.
XMMS for Mac (http://64.233.183.104/search?q=cache:ST9ywHUS0IAJ:xmms.darwinports.com/+xmms+for+mac&hl=en&ct=clnk&cd=1)

By the way. Also already installed some package to let iTunes play ogg files.

edit: And, yes, thank you any way for trying to help. :)

Have a nice day! :D

Hi Hanzomon4.

I have experience of getting something to try out and then being automatically, without notice, switched to payed service. And i don't need this service. As i know most GNU/Linux users don't pay for soft and they maintain it "self service" way. That's why i don't want to try it out. Off course i might been mistaking. But that's it.

And also, Darksidedude, i have sent you an E-mail about what you've asked. :)

Have a nice day!

There's no "switching" to a payed service in the Apple Developer's Connection website. I've been registered there since forever, I've even been invited to a developers conference. Never paid a dime.

You're too paranoid for your own sake.
