I would like to get some hands on fc experience. So far I have zero. I do have some fc hard drives in the mail, and a HBA for my test server. Now I need to get the server to talk to the drives. So how do I do that?


Looking at the drives only for a sec, I'm thinking that I will need some sort of backplane, power supply, and controller for the drives. Will a fc switch or hub work for the backplane? What I need more than that is a how to on building up a drive array. So far my Google attempts have come up empty.

Any ideas on an array how-to?
